Madhukar Gawai has learnt this art from a master craftsman and is now assisted by his son Vijay. Madhukar has won the first prize in a national competition organized by the Maharashtra Government Hast Kala Mandal.

Coasters, Napkin Rings and Incense boxes have been made using this craft.
