 The cotton, silk or woollen

weaves. The durability and beauty depend on the way a piece of weaving is finished
requiring only the mending of warp and weft ends. Design patterns could be collected from
the natural environment such as flora and fauna, mythological and historical scenes,
coins, carvings, jewellery. Tassels or decorative fringes are either added to enhance the
beauty of a woven wall hanging. Feathers, beads, wooden figures, dry twigs, mirrors are
often attached.
