Year 2000

22 December - 10 January - Thanks to the untiring efforts and good offices of Mr. B. G. Deshmukh and Mr. Kekoo Gandhi, for the first time in India, a Craft Exhibition was held at the National Gallery of Modern Art. This was a tremendous breakthrough for our craftsmen and the response we received from the public of Mumbai was overwhelming.
